In 1971, one pilot was greatly fortunate to endure a wild wave that showed up specifically in his way amid departure. With no deck left to stop he has no choice however to fly through the surge of water. The USS Ticonderoga was pitching intensely and brought on some ludicrous impediments for the dispatch team. The plane vanishes in the wave for a few moments that vibe like an unending length of time before pulling up and taking flight once more. The pilot and co-pilot portals of the S2 Tracker were open as per Tom Sanders, the squadron LSO watching the dispatch from the stage. Pilot LCDR Guy Wilcox was splashed, however OK and figured out how to give back the air ship to San Francisco where it was taken out of administration.
