We Take The Toyota I-Road Electric Vehicle Out For A Spin, Find Out It’s Awesome

Not exactly an auto, not exactly a bike, the Toyota i-Road is a three-wheeled electric vehicle planned only for urbanites. Little, smooth and ultra thin, on paper the i-Road appears like the ideal answer for Tokyo’s congested driving conditions and woefully constrained – also costly – parking. But what’s it like to really drive one of these things? Our Japanese group took off to attempt an i-Road for themselves. Look at their video after the jump!”It’s much the same as skiing” claims the i-Road’s authentic site while showing a picture of the charming little EV inclining unstably to the other side, “the more you drive the better it gets!”
Roaders are initially required to enroll with Times, the parking area and auto offering administrator attempting to Toyota to showcase the new electric vehicles, and after that advance to “stage 2” participation, which is as basic leasing a specific number of vehicles from the organization (and returning them in one piece) and taking a basic online street security test. With enough guides accumulated toward turn into a phase 2 part, those wishing to lease an i-Road are, subsequent to being given a short, one-off lesson on working the vehicle securely, allowed to take an i-Road out at whatever point they please.
